Scaled Composities 143 Triumph
Scaled Composites has developed several bizjet models, which were only meant as “proof of concept” and were never produced in series. One of these is the Triumph, which seems to be a distant cousin of the Honda Jet, because the Triumph’s engines are also above the wing. It was the first application of the Williams FJ44 engines, which are now widely spread among the light jets. The Triumphis is a so-called tri-surface plane with a normal wing, a T-tail and canards.

Confusion possible with
Honda HA420 HondaJet
This aircraft also has the engines on top of the wings and a T-tail, but the essential similarities stop there. The HondaJet has no canards, but does have winglets.
